Solar panels

Generating electricity is no longer enough. What decides whether an installation pays today is the share you consume on site, at the hour the grid costs most.

Size on the consumption, not on the roof

Orientation, available area and shading give what the roof can generate. Your consumption habits give what is actually of use. We start from the second.

A coherent installation also leaves room for what comes later: a battery, a charge point, a heat pump. That is easier to plan for than to retrofit.

Without storage you sell cheap at noon what you buy back dear in the evening.

The surplus generated during the day goes onto the grid, and the electricity you use at the expensive hours is bought back at those hours’ price. The gap between the two is what eats the return on an otherwise well-fitted installation.

A battery stores that surplus and returns it when it is worth most. It is the item that has changed the arithmetic most in recent years, and it is the first one we price.

A system, not a row of panels

Panels, storage, load control and charge point are set up together or they work against each other. A charge point pulling 11 kW while the cylinder heats and generation has already dropped is a billed peak for nothing.

We fit the whole as one system: what generates, what stores, what consumes, and the rule that arbitrates between the three.

What we price before a single panel goes up

  • A sizing and return study
  • The self-consumption actually reachable, with and without storage
  • The full installation and commissioning
  • Compatibility with charge points and load control
  • What the installation will take in five years
